TEACUP FENWICK RETURNS!
Southern Oregon TDAA Trial - Turner, OR
July 4-5th, 2009

Fenwick hadn't been to a teacup agility trial in over 2 years, it was fun to playing on the adorable tiny equipment again.  We just entered the standard runs and Fenwick did great, qualifying in all four (super cute) runs.  It really is a fun venue, agility with a very different flair.  Fenwick is now 2 standard legs from this TACh ... but who knows when the next local TDAA trial will be!

DOUBLE Q #11!
PAC AKC Trial - Vancouver, WA
June 12-14th, 2009

Fenwick had a couple little bobbles, but otherwise did fabulous on his 4th weekend of agility in a row.  He held up remarkably well and seemed to really enjoy all the agility action.  I think we're both ready for a fun summer of hiking and hanging out with the whole crew.  Can't believe my little guy is almost nine years old!

DOUBLE Q #10!
CRAC AKC Trial - Vancouver, WA
June 6-7th, 2009

Fenwick is just so easy to run, I suppose that's what happens when you've been doing agility for 8 years.  We had one little bobble this weekend where I didn't support a jump (sometimes I forget that all dogs aren't like London and will just randomly take things that are in front of them whether you cue them or not!), but all very nice runs for the Fenwick.  The weather was nice and cool, Fenny was in a good mood and he's now halfway to a MACh - that didn't take long!

RESERVE HIGH IN TRIAL!
GSDCA AKC Trial - Canby, OR
May 30-31st, 2009

Fenwick is just way too easy to run, going 4 for 4 over the weekend, bringing his double Q count up to 9 and coming in reserve high in trial of all heights!  If he keeps up this qualifying rate he'll have his MACh in no time, he's such a super star.  I can't believe he's almost 9 years old!

FENNY GOES 7 for 8!
Eugene Kennel Club AKC Trial - Eugene, OR
May 22-25th, 2009

Thanks to some very kind souls we had the use of a camper trailer for this four day trial, so I decided to bring Fenwick along on this trip and see how he did.  Certainly having the trailer to relax in during the day helped keep Fenwick more relaxed, but I think it will be his last trial we travel to.  Fenwick likes his local trials where he can go home every night and relax!  Still, we did have a very fun weekend, and Fenwick was his normal fabulous agility self, coming home with 7 out of 8 Qs and 3 double Qs!

DOUBLE Q #4!
CRAC AKC Trial - Albany, OR
March 27-29th, 2009

A very fun trial, though Fenwick's first run he freaked me out by popping out of the weaves and looking sad, but after a trip to the chiropractor he was feeling good again!  Fenwick was looking great and moving well, he won all the classes he qualified in.  He also finished his MX and came home with double Q #4 - Go Fen!

FENWICK WINS GRAND PRIX!
WAG USDAA Trial - Corvallis, OR
March 14-15th, 2009

Soggy, soggy trial this weekend - the rain never stopped and even just taking Fen out to potty he'd be soaked through.  So I cut the weekend short, which meant that Fenwick just had three runs - but they were our favorites!  Fenwick did actually miss his aframe on an otherwise lovely standard run on Saturday, but who cares when Fenwick is just so fricken awesome?  Even getting tangled in the chute he won Grand Prix, and also won his standard run on Sunday before we headed home to dry off.  Fenwick is a superstar, as always - and he was more than happy to skip the games this weekend (as was I!).

DOUBLE Q #3!
MHDPC AKC Trial - Vancouver, WA
January 30th-February 1st, 2009

Fenwick does so like to make me worry - his latest thing seems to be missing weave entries, which totally freaks me out and makes me wonder if there is something wrong.  Still, his missed entry on the first day of the show did seem to merely ... a missed entry.  Maybe we should actually work on those!  It gave us a chance to work on contacts and other skills, so I suppose it's all good.  We were all about being careful this weekend!  We did bring home Fenwick's 3rd double Q this weekend - and would have had another if it wasn't for a sloppy handler not supporting a jump!

DOUBLE Q FENNY!
PAC AKC Trial - Vancouver, WA
January 3-4th, 2009

Fenwick was a superstar as usual for this trial, a little cold weather wasn't going to slow him down!  Saturday he came home with his second double Q, winning both classes and Sunday he won standard but missed his weave entry in jumpers.  To be fair, London missed it too - it must be something I was doing!  Looking forward to a fabulous 2009 with my Fenny, best Fenwick in the universe.
