BACONFURY BRISBEE!
Northwest Agility League
November-December 2008
Brisbee and Bruce once again teamed up with Fenwick to form Team BACONFURY with Tedo and Kells for League this year. Brisbee's performance was a bit of a mixed bag, but it was clear that he was VERY happy to be running with Bruce again - he hadn't run him since last year at league! When Brisbee was on he looked great, his weaves have really improved this year. Then when he didn't feel like running ... well, that was apparent too. Brisbee hasn't changed much! Still, a great result for our very inconsistant little guy - 3rd place! Go Brisbee!

MASTERS BRISBEE!
CAT USDAA NW CUP - Ridgefield, OR
October 12th, 2008
Brisbee in MASTERS?? The dog that took 3 years to do the teeter? Our little stressball? How on earth did it happen? He did it though, he finished his Performance 2 title this weekend. Brisbee has had a great year, he has been overcoming his stress issues more and more at every trial. I'm so very, very proud of the Briz!
Brisbee was just running one day, 2 runs for this trial. We tried the McMuffin strategy this weekend and it paid off with one very bouncy Brisbee for his standard run. His jumpers run was a little more relaxed, but he stayed with me. Two great runs! Brisbee will probably make his exciting Masters debut sometime next year. I'm sure it will be entertaining.

BRISBEE BRINGS HOME THE GOLD!
Fleet Feet USDAA Starters/Advanced trial - Turner, OR
August 23-24th, 2008
Brisbee's first ever trial all by himself! This starters/advanced trial was really fun and a great idea. A relaxed one ring trial and Brisbee did really well in the 4 runs he did, coming home with a 1st in standard and pairs! He even had his first ever steeplechase run, which was pretty darn good for the Briz ... but he was done weaving by that point.
So only one more leg for Brisbee and he really will be in MASTERS - Wow! Still, we're in no rush, that last leg might prove mighty ellusive. One never knows how stressed Brisbee might be, he certainly has no problems with the courses when he's not feeling worried!

A TASTE of BRISBEE
USDAA NW Regionals - Canby, OR
June 27-29th, 2008
Brisbee was entered in just one day of advanced classes at the regional. As usual, it was always a complete surprise what sort of Brisbee would show up in the ring! Super happy zoomy Brisbee (my FAVORITE Brisbee!) showed up for standard. He was all over the place! Took the table three times, the chute twice, two dogwalks - wheee! But he was HAPPY, and actually nailed all his contacts (including the teeter!) and the weaves. So no complaints, that dog just makes me smile.
Then rather pokey distracted Brisbee showed up later in the day for snooker, but he did pull off a Q. He's getting closer to his advanced title ... just give us few more years. ;-)

BRISBEE ZOOMS AROUND
WAG USDAA Trial - Corvallis, OR
March 8th, 2008
I wasn't quite sure what to expect out of Brisbee for this trial, he hadn't gotten much agility practice in this year, and, well, he's Brisbee. And he didn't disappoint! He just had two runs and he was a total wild man for his standard run. dashing to and fro without much concept of teamwork, contacts, tables or weaves - but he had SPEED! Jumpers he didn't have quite so much speed but definitely more focus and he even squeaked by with a Q.
Go Brisbee!
